Kaiut

Kaiut Yoga is all about biomechanical health (freedom of movement). It has been designed to work through chronic pain & injuries, general aches & stiffness, and work for the inflexible, hyper flexible and the aging body.

Unlike most yoga that emphasizes muscular stretch, Kaiut Yoga works from the joints. As such, it has a dramatic impact in countering the harmful effects of modern living. It uses long holds and specific isolated movements to create freedom in the physical system and energy flow.

With more freedom of body comes freedom of mind. It’s about a better quality of life.

Beginner

Beginner classes provide a safe environment for beginning students to learn the correct form of the basic yoga postures. Basic yoga postures are the building blocks of a healthy yoga practice. Classical sun salutations, standing poses, gentle back strengthening poses, forward bends and twists are practiced in these classes.

Because of the range of styles and difficulty offered at the beginning level, some people choose to remain at this level.

Intermediate Kripalu

Kripalu yoga is a gentle form of hatha yoga, which aims to cultivate awareness and compassion. The Kripalu method teaches yoga postures and basic breathing techniques with the emphasis on non-judgmental observation of the inner senses, thoughts, and emotions.
