Yoga Centre Winnipeg
Advanced Teacher Training 2008/2009 150 hour program
This program offers continuing education beyond the 200 hour basic yoga teacher training. It is for the serious yoga practitioner and established teacher to focus on developing the skills to teach and practice the more advanced postures with depth and precision. We will also begin to explore the organic level of practice in beginner and intermediate ways as well as expanding your understanding of teaching poses more deeply.
The syllabus of postures will be developed based on participants' needs and interests.

Putting it all Together
Hart Lazer and Jan Debenham
Jan Debenham, co-owner of the Yoga Centre Winnipeg, has studied Iyengar yoga with a variety of teachers including Donald Moyer and Father Joe Pereira. In addition, Jan is a certified Vinyasa teacher, receiving her training from the White Lotus Foundation. As well as teaching classes that range from beginner to advanced, Jan currently leads the Yoga Centre Winnipeg's Teacher Training program. As someone who truly lives the practice, Jan's dedication to asana and meditation shines through as she guides students with insight, knowledge, and caring to explore the joy of yoga.
Hart Lazer has been teaching yoga for over 25 years, and received the depths of his training principally from Iyengar Yoga teacher Ramanand Patel. In the past few years Hart has broadened his practice to include Ashtanga Yoga, Buddhist study and meditation. The integration of these practices with his knowledge of Iyengar Yoga alignment is fully felt and reflected in his practice and his teaching.
Since co-founding the Yoga Centre Winnipeg in 1986, and United Yoga Montreal in 2005, Hart has taught workshops and trained teachers internationally in his unique blend of methods. Workshop participants over the years have been delighted by his candor and humour, while being inspired and challenged by his depth of knowledge and insight.
