Yoga and Your Nervous System

Jennifer is a Registered Clinical Psychologist; working in private practice in Winnipeg for 12 years. She has practiced yoga for most of her life.

She completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2010, and completed her 500 hour training through the Yoga Centre Winnipeg in 2021

Join Jennifer Volk, Registered Clinical Psychologist to learn about the interaction between your nervous system and your yoga practice.

Your nervous system is involved in every action, thought, and emotion you experience.

In this series of 6 classes, you will learn:
- What are the different parts of the nervous system?
- How is the nervous system impacted by our day to day life?
- How does our yoga practice affect our nervous system?
- Asana and breath practices to both stimulate and calm your nervous system.
